Another round of severe thunderstorms in the Charleston area is possible again today, according to the National Weather Service.
The risk will be greatest between noon and 8 p.m. Some of the storms could be accompanied by heavy rain and wind gusts of more than 60 mph. The weather service puts the chance of rain today at 80 percent, mainly after 1 p.m. There’s a 60 percent of more rain tonight.
Otherwise it will be cooler today than it has been lately, with a high around 86.
Saturday and Sunday should both be mostly sunny, with a high near 88 Saturday and around 89 Sunday, according to the weather service.
