A portion of King Street was closed for another gas leak Tuesday afternoon.
The Charleston Fire Department closed King between Radcliffe and John streets to vehicle and pedestrian traffic around 4:30 p.m. for a gas leak.
Some people reported being kept inside near the site until the leak was fixed. CARTA was also advising its riders to expect delays on all Express routes due to the heavy traffic in the area, according to their Twitter page.
SCE&G had the leak fixed by 5:15 p.m., according to the fire department. Roads were expected to reopen shortly after that.
