SC State Museum focuses on heavens with ‘Plutopalooza’ event

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The planetarium in the South Carolina State Museum is hosting a ‘Plutopalooza’ event focusing on a new spacecraft’s fly-by and photos of Pluto.

A webcast of the NASA mission is being broadcast Tuesday and will offer the first detailed images of Pluto.

The event is included in a museum membership visit or general admission.

There is an additional fee if one chooses to see the planetarium show, which is a solar system viewing focusing on Pluto.
