Several volunteers from a North Charleston church worked for hours Friday to remove graffiti from its outside walls, according to the pastor, Gabriel Galdo.
He wrote in a media release that Grace Alliance Church, which sits at the entrance to the Colony North subdivision, was defaced with satanic symbols and swastikas. Galdo said it was reported to North Charleston Police, which could not be reached for comment.
It was determined that sometime during the night Thursday, vandals had used black spray paint on the church sign and all white surfaces of the building, according to Galdo, who also sent pictures of the damage.
It is unclear if anyone has been arrested stemming from the incident.
