Authorities received a call at 11:22 a.m. about the incident at 1870 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., according to Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis.
A white man wearing sunglasses and a red scarf wrapped around his face walked into the bank and demanded money from a teller, Francis said. He fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money, he said.
The man did not present a weapon and did not imply that he was armed, Francis said.
