Robber steals Playstation, iPads after firing shots at N. Charleston Game Stop

A frustrated robber fired into a display case and fled with a Playstation 3 and two iPads after being unable to get into the safe at a North Charleston Game Stop, according to North Charleston police.

A clerk at the Game Stop at 9730 Dorchester Road told police a man with a shirt over his mouth came into the store about 8 p.m., showed a gun and demanded money, according to the incident report. When the clerk couldn’t open the safe, the man fired three shots into a display case. When the bullets failed to shatter the glass, the clerk gave the man the Playstation 3 and iPads, and he left the store.

The suspect is described as a black man, with a dark mustache, wearing a gray hoodie-style shirt and khaki pants.
