The reward has been increased to find out who killed Ariel Morgan, the 19-year-old bystander who was shot when gunfire broke out at a party near Moncks Corner last summer.

Crime Stoppers announced the $8,740 reward Thursday morning.

Morgan was fatally wounded June 7 when shots were fired among the crowd of hundreds at the party on Tish Lane in the Longridge community. She died at the scene. She was studying at Francis Marion University to be a nurse.

Her family has been raising money since her death to increase the reward to find her killer.
