U.S. Rep. Tim Scott, R-S.C., will sponsor a Conference on Entrepreneurship next month to try to find solutions that will create more jobs.

“Job creators in this country are not interested in partisan squabbling or the politics of division,” he said. “They want their government to reform the tax code and streamline the regulatory burden so that their ideas, initiative, and energy can be unshackled.”

The May 31 event is expected to feature Priceline.com founder Jay Walker, Honeywell CEO Dave Cote and others who will be announced in coming weeks.

Scott said he hopes the discussions will create a framework that will lead to increased innovation, employment, and productivity growth.

Registration is free and open to the public. Those interested may register at timscott.house.gov or by calling (202) 225-3176.Updates will be posted on Twitter @RevitalizingUSA and atfacebook.com/RevitalizingAmerica.
