Rain expected for several days in Charleston

It's going to be a wet week in Charleston, with a good chance of rain every day until Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

The chance of more rain today is 90 percent, with the possibility of a thunderstorm and up to an inch of rain. Today's high should be around 65 degrees, with an overnight low around 50 and a 40 percent chance of more rain tonight.

Tuesday's chance of rain is 40 percent, mainly a light rain or drizzle in the afternoon and a 50 percent chance of more rain overnight. Tuesday's high should be near 58, with an overnight low around 41.

The chance of rain or drizzle drops to 20 percent Wednesday and Wednesday night but increases to 50 percent Thursday, according to the weather service.

Friday is the first day this week with sunshine in the forecast, with a high around 55.
