A Summerville man was arrested Sunday after allegedly stabbing a woman in the arm.
Johnny Brooks, whose age was not released, of Ballentine Lane, is charged with attempted murder.
Officers responded just before 5:30 p.m. to Brooks’ home in Wescott Plantation in reference to an assault that had taken place, according to North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor.
They found the injured woman and she was taken to Trident Medical Center. The extent of her injuries is unknown. Brooks fled the residence but was found behind a neighbor’s house, according to Pryor.
