Police trying to ID 3 women in attempted robbery of Victoria’s Secret

Charleston Police on Monday released three surveillance images from an attempted robbery on Sept. 20 at Victoria’s Secret on King Street.

Charleston police are searching for three women suspected of trying to rob a Victoria’s Secret store on King Street.

One of the assailants used pepper spray during the Sept. 20 attempted strong-arm robbery, according to police spokesman Charles Francis. The store is located at 254 King St.

The women, thought to be in their late teens to early 20s, were caught on surveillance video. One of the suspects is 5 feet, 11 inches tall with long braids. The second is 5 feet, 4 inches with a long red strip of hair. The third is 5 feet, 10 inches.
