A threat of rain moves in tonight, with a 20 percent chance after 2 a.m.

The chance of rain increases to 50 percent Tuesday during the day, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Tuesday should be mostly cloudy, with a high near 79.

Wednesday includes a 20 percent chance of late-afternoon thunderstorms, with a high near 82.

The outlook for Thursday and Friday is partly sunny, with a high around 80 for both days.

The threat of rain returns for the weekend, with a 50 percent chance Saturday and a 40 percent chance Sunday, according to the weather service.
