One dead and two injured in early morning shooting on Norman Street

A 32-year-old man was killed and two other people were injured in a shooting at a house on Norman Street in peninsular Charleston, authorities said.

Antwan Frost, of Charleston died at Medical University Hospital of a gunshot wound to the chest, said Charleston County Chief Deputy Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal.

Charleston police officers were dispatched early Saturday morning to the area of 36 Norman St., police spokesman Doug Gallucio said.

When officers arrived on scene, they found three people inside the house who had been injured by gunfire. All three were transported to MUH, Gallucio said. The coroner’s office said Frost died at 7:02 a.m.

Information on the conditions of the other two victims was not provided.
