North Charleston police are looking for a gunman who shot a 20-year-old man early today on South Kenwood Drive.

At about 12:22 a.m., officers were sent to 6951 South Kenwood to check on reports of shots being fired. They were told witnesses saw a person being shot in the parking lot of the apartment complex there, police said.

Witnesses told police a group of men were in an argument in the parking lot when one pulled out a gun and shot another man at close range before fleeing in a dark gray car. They stated the victim also was loaded into a car and taken away from the area, police said.

A short time later, police learned a shooting victim had shown up at Trident Medical Center seeking treatment. Police identified the wounded man as Davontay Antonio Gleaton, 20, of North
