Horace Edwin Green of Buist Avenue in North Charleston is charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during a violent crime. He is being held at the Charleston County jail.

A 31-year-old man told police a stranger approached him and pulled out a gun after he got off a bus Thursday at 9:45 p.m. The man said he ran when he saw the pistol and the stranger fired as many as six shots that missed him, according to a police report.
