Mount Pleasant armed robbery suspect out on bail on other robbery charges

Calvin Malone Vanderhorst, 18, of Mount Pleasant is wanted on several armed-robbery warrants.

A supect in an armed robbery in Mount Pleasant this week is out of jail on bail after an armed-robbery charge last summer.

Mount Pleasant police are looking for Calvin Malone Vanderhorst, 18, whose last known address was on Rifle Range Road. He is a suspect in an armed robbery about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at 1633 Babington Way.

Vanderhorst was out on bail after being accused of an armed robbery on June 6 at a Bank of America ATM on Highway 17 North, according to police. Police have three armed-robbery warrants for Vanderhorst, Maj. Stan Gragg said.

Vanderhorst is described as 5 feet 11 inches and weighing about 145 pounds.
