Motorist without seatbelt dies after crashing, being ejected

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — A Spartanburg man who lost control of his car is dead in a single-vehicle accident.

Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger says 24-year-old Brian Souryasack died early Saturday as a result of the accident just before midnight.

WYFF reports highway patrol troopers say Souryasack was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle when it overturned. Troopers say Souryasack was driving a two-door, 1992 Honda when the car went off Springfield Road, hit a ditch and overturned.
