The rain will continue to fall and the temperature continue to drop today, according to the National Weather Service.
A flood advisory has been extended until 2 p.m. Minor flooding is expected in poor drainage areas.
Up to an inch of rain could saturate the Lowcountry today, causing minor flooding and possible ponding on roadways, according to the weather service.
This afternoon’s high should be around 65, dropping to 56 by 5 p.m. and 40 degrees overnight. Another half to three-quarters inch of rain is expected tonight, mainly before midnight.
Friday should be sunny, with a high near 53.
Saturday should be partly sunny, with a high near 54 and a slight chance of an afternoon shower.
Sunday should be mostly cloudy, with a high near 50 and a 60 percent chance of rain, mainly before 8 a.m.
