SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Spartanburg County officials say two men suspected in the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man have been arrested in North Carolina.

Lt. Kevin Bobo of the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Jason Cash of Inman and 29-year-old Steven Lewis of Greensboro, North Carolina, were arrested Saturday. Both are charged with murder and attempted murder.

Coroner Rusty Clevenger says Carey Mauldin was pronounced dead in his home near Chesnee about 7:45 a.m. Friday.
