Man killed, man arrested in Myrtle Beach slaying

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - One man is dead and another is in custody following a shooting in Myrtle Beach.

Captain David Knipes of the Myrtle Beach Police tells area media outlets that a 49-year-old man was shot and killed on the third floor of the Wave Rider Resort on South Ocean Boulevard at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

A few hours later, a suspect was arrested. It was not immediately clear what charges the man faces.

Police say the shooting happened after an argument between the two men.

Their names were not immediately released.
