Man arrested, charged with disorderly conduct after interrupting Sullivan’s Island church service

A man has been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing religious worship after interrupting a church service on Sullivan’s Island, according to town officials.

James L. Goulah, 45, was escorted outside of the church building after the incident and remained there until police arrived.

Town officials say no firearms were involved. Goulah is being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
