Traffic was building Friday morning on Interstate 26, but no major accidents had been reported.
S.C. Department of Transportation cameras showed motorists moving steadily on eastbound I-26 near Ashley Phosphate Road.
Around 7:15 a.m., Mount Pleasant police closed all but one lane of northbound U.S. Highway 17 near Dragoon Drive because of a crash with injuries. A wrecker was en route to the scene, the police said.
