Lowcountry high school graduations begin this week

Lowcountry high schools will hold graduation ceremonies over the next week for the class of 2015.

Students across the Lowcountry will turn tassels and toss caps over the next week as they celebrate reaching the end of their high school careers.

Dorchester District 2 will kick off the festivities Saturday with graduations for its three high schools. Berkeley and Charleston county students will matriculate June 2 through June 6.

The graduation schedule is as follows:

Ashley Ridge — 10 a.m., North Charleston Coliseum

Summerville — 2 p.m., North Charleston Coliseum

Fort Dorchester — 6 p.m., North Charleston Coliseum

Berkeley Middle College — 7 p.m., Berkeley High School

Military Magnet — 8:30 a.m., North Charleston Performing Arts Center

Baptist Hill — 11:30 a.m., North Charleston Performing Arts Center

West Ashley — 11:30 a.m., North Charleston Coliseum

Academic Magnet — 2:30 p.m., North Charleston Performing Arts Center

Stall — 3:30 p.m., North Charleston Coliseum

Garrett — 5:30 p.m., North Charleston Performing Arts Center

St. John’s — 8:30 a.m., North Charleston Performing Arts Center

Greg Mathis Charter — 10 a.m., Mt. Moriah Baptist, North Charleston

North Charleston — 11:30 a.m., North Charleston Performing Arts Center

Burke — 11:30 a.m., North Charleston Coliseum

James Island Charter — 3 p.m., McAllister Field House, The Citadel
