A Ladson man is accused of shooting a woman in the rear end after an argument in North Charleston earlier this month.

Perry Raekwon Dashaw Jackson, 20, of Jenwood Street in Ladson was arrested Wednesday and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Shortly before 3 p.m. on Sept. 5, officers found a woman sitting in a car in a ditch on Southern Street and discovered she had been shot in the rear end, according to an incident report. She said Jackson grabbed her arms during an argument and fired several shots at her car while he was driving away.

Jackson was arrested in 2012 for distribution of cocaine, pleaded guilty and was given probation under the Youthful Offenders Act, according to Charleston County Court records.
