Increasing clouds and a chance of rain later today in Charleston

Increasing clouds and a chance of rain will move into the Charleston area today, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters put the rain chance at 30 percent after 5 p.m. and at 90 percent tonight. Today’s high should be around 59, with an overnight low around 44.

The chance of rain is 40 percent early Thursday morning, mainly before 8 a.m., according to the weather service. Thursday’s high should be near 56, with an overnight low around 30.

Friday should be sunny, with a high near 47 and an overnight low around 31.

Saturday and Sunday should be sunny, with a high near 58 Saturday and near 65 Sunday.
