Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 92 and heat index values as high as 102, according to the National Weather Service.
Shallow flooding is possible along the coast tonight because of an elevated high tide, which is at 8:12 p.m. in Charleston Harbor.
Friday’s forecast includes a high near 90 and a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m.
The chance of rain both Saturday and Sunday is 50 percent, with a high near 89 each day, according to the weather service.
