CLEMSON – The season started a week later than usually because the calendar, and Labor Day, flipped forward. Then the Tigers went and played two non-conference, non-Power 5 name brands, to open the year. Involuntarily, those two are followed five days away by Louisville, and 21 days from Notre Dame.
So Wofford and Appalachian State might feel a little like your basket of rolls and appetizer came out waaaaay too late, and you only get, like, two and a half minutes to gobble down that spinach artichoke dip before the shrimp fettucine comes out.
(Listen, Caraviello gets to invoke fashion every week, I’m going with food today. Deal with it.)
