Goose Creek police look into arson of Goodwill trailers

Two trailers behind Goodwill in Goose Creek were set on fire last week, according to police.

Goose Creek police are asking for the public’s help after two semi-tractors trailers at a Goodwill store were set on fire last week.

Officers responded just after 11 a.m. Thursday to Goodwill Industries at 207 St. James Ave., for a “suspicious fire call,” according to Capt. John Grainger.

The two trailers were ablaze when they arrived and an investigation indicated that the fires were set intentionally. The trailers were located at a loading dock behind the business, according to an incident report.

Anyone with information about the fires is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
