Police and federal agents raided a Goose Creek house this morning in search of a meth lab.

Goose Creek’s Special Response and Tactics Team, along with DEA agents from the Charleston office, executed a search warrant for materials related to the manufacturing and possession of methamphetamines at 105 Edmund Road, which is near Red Bank Road, about 9:30 a.m., Capt. John Granger said.

Officers entered the home and arrested Brian Hill, 32. He was charged with the manufacture of methamphetamine and two counts of the disposal of methamphetamine waste. He is being held at the Berkeley County jail.

Authorities spent several hours on the scene collecting evidence. The meth lab didn’t appear to be active today and no one in the vicinity was in danger, Grainger said.
