Good chance of rain today, thunderstorms possible

When the forecast starts off with “becoming partly sunny late,” you’ve got to wonder what kind of morning we’re in for.

It goes on to say showers are likely this morning with a chance of thunderstorms this morning, and a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon.

Highs will be in the lower 70s, with southwest winds around 5 mph, becoming north this afternoon. The chance of rain today is 60 percent.

Tonight will be mostly clear, with lows in the upper 50s and northeast winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday will be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 70s, except in the lower 70s near the coast. Winds will be from the east at 15 to 20 mph.

Sunday night will be mostly cloudy, with lows in the lower 60s and east winds at 10 to 15 mph.
