Funeral service for shooting victim Ethel Lance to be held Thursday

Palmetto Mortuary has confirmed the arrangements for Ethel Lance, one of the nine victims of the mass shooting at Emanuel AME Church last week.

There will be a viewing at 6 p.m. and family visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Royal Missionary Baptist Church, 4761 Luella Ave. in North Charleston.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Lance will be buried immediately after the service at the Emanuel AME Church Cemetery, 110 Calhoun St.

Flowers and other expressions of sympathy will be accepted at Palmetto Mortuary, 1122 Morrison Drive of Charleston.
