Four charged in burglary of Snee Farm home

Mount Pleasant police arrested four people Tuesday in connection with a burglary in the Snee Farm neighborhood.

Police identified the suspects as Ryan Vedad of Charleston, Joshua Duncan of Summerville, Jessica Davis of Summerville and Kathylynn Vessell of North Charleston. Their ages and addresses were not provided. Each is charged with second-degree burglary. Davis faces an additional charge of possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Additional charges are possible, police said.

Police responded around 11:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a burglary off of Whipple Road, Inspector Chip Googe said. Police searched the area and Long Point Road for the suspects.

Three of the suspects were reportedly in custody by 1 p.m., with the remaining suspect apprehended by roughly 3 p.m.

Further details about the burglary were not immediately released Tuesday.
