Four accused of breaking into North Charleston gun parts supplier

Four people were arrested after police said they tried to break into a North Charleston business that makes gun parts.

The four were caught breaking into CBC Industries at 5269 Rivers Ave. some time after 11 p.m. Thursday, according to the report from North Charleston police.

The company advertises itself as a manufacturer and supplier of products, including rifle barrels, for the firearms industry.

Savone Josiah Bowens, 18, of Flora Street in North Charleston and Johnelle Jermaine Reaves Jr.. 17, of Rivers Avenue were both charged with second-degree burglary.

Two juveniles also were charged.
