Fort Johnson Middle School is participating in an anti-bullying program and poster contest.
All of the school’s grade levels will participate and have been taught how to identify and stop bullying at their school, according to Charleston County Sheriff’s officials.
In each class, students were assigned to a group of four to create a poster with an anti-bullying theme. One poster from each of the classes will be picked by judges then one from each grade level will be chosen to represent that grade.
One will be chosen from the three finalists as the grand prize winner. The posters will be judged between the 17th and 24th on content, the message, originality and aesthetics.
An awards assembly will take place but has not yet been scheduled.
