Former Charleston pizza store worker accused of theft

Keith Michael Gebbia Jr., 32, of Parsonage Road is accused of stealing money from the pizza store where he worked.

A former downtown Charleston pizza store worker is in jail after his boss accused him of siphoning off more than $1,000.

Keith Michael Gebbia Jr., 32, of Parsonage Road is charged with breach of trust.

Gebbia was an assistant manager at Domino’s Pizza at 320 E. Bay St., according to the incident report from Charleston police. The manager told police that whenever Gebbia worked, money that drivers turned in after deliveries would be missing at the end of his shift. The manager said Gebbia took a total of $1,107 between May 5 and Dec. 14, 2012, according to the report.

The manager filed a police report Jan. 14. Gebbia was arrested Sunday night and is being held in the Charleston County jail.
