Eastbound I-26 in North Charleston up to speed after early crashes

Four minor wrecks on Interstate 26 have been cleared after they slowed eastbound traffic this morning.

Three of the crashes were reported between 7:23 and 7:34 a.m. just north of the Interstate 526 interchange, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol. Another was called in about 7:47 a.m. near Midland Park Road.

The highway patrol said nobody was injured in the crashes.

Traffic was backed up between I-526 and University Boulevard, but the accidents have since been cleared from the road.
