Drizzle should clear up by noon today in Charleston

Temperatures in the low 40s lured surfers and paddleboarders into the water near the Folly Beach pier at sunrise Wednesday.

A chance of some more light rain remains in the forecast until around noon today in the Charleston area.

The drizzle should clear up by 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Today’s high should be near 47 degrees, with a north wind of 10 to 13 mph. Tonight’s low should be around 37, with the wind down to around 8 mph.

There’s a 20 percent chance of rain Thursday in the late afternoon and a 30 percent chance between 7 p.m. and 1 am, according to the weather service. The high should be near 53 and the overnight low around 40.

Sunshine is expected Friday, with a high near 56 and an overnight low around 38.

Saturday and Sunday should be mostly sunny, with highs in the low 60s.
