MURRELLS INLET - Georgetown County sheriff's deputies are searching for a Charleston man accused of exposing himself to two young girls while they played Tuesday at Huntington Beach State Park.
Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Carrie Cuthbertson identified the suspect as Patrick M. Krell, of Charleston. He is described as a white man, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 170 pounds with blue eyes.
Authorities responded to Huntington Beach, 16148 Ocean Highway, around 4 p.m. Tuesday, Cuthbertson said. Two girls had told a family member that a man exposed himself to them while they played near the water, she said.
A witness followed the man as he drove toward Ocean Highway in a greenish blue GMC van with a Georgia license plate with the number BXD-1908. The vehicle was registered to Krell, according to Cuthbertson.
