Crime Stoppers on Wednesday announced that a reward had increased to $4,000 for tips leading to an arrest in the death of a Moncks Corner man.
According to Crime Stoppers spokesman Cpl. Fred Bowie, anonymous donors provided an additional $3,000 to the usual $1,000 Crime Stopper reward regarding the death of 79-year-old Artie Bradley.
On June 2, passersby found Bradley dead on the side of a road in the Francis Marion National Forest. His body was found near Bonneau Road, about a mile from his house, according to Berkeley County sheriff's deputies.
Authorities believe Bradley was murdered. No arrests have been made in the case.
