Clear, sunny day ahead for Memorial Day

The Lowcountry should see clear skies and highs in the low- to mid-80s for the rest of the week. Today’s high is 81 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service has issued a rip current advisory through the evening for parts of the coast, including Charleston, so be careful if you head to the beach today.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 73 degrees.

Tomorrow the high creeps up slightly to 83 degrees, and the overnight low dips slightly to 71 degrees.
