Charleston police are searching for two suspects in an armed robbery that happened early Thursday morning.
Officers were dispatched to a Cumberland Street parking garage shortly before 1 a.m. concerning an armed robbery that had just occurred.
A 46-year-old man told officers that two men had approached him as he walked along Queen Street.
One of the men pulled out a pistol, pointed it at him and demanded that he give them everything, an incident report states.
The men fled the scene with the man’s wallet and iPhone, police said.
The robbed man went to a well-lit part of Cumberland Street and notified the parking garage’s teller of the incident, the report said.
Anyone with information on the robbery can call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111 or Charleston police at 577-7434, police spokesman Charles Francis said.
