Charleston police searching for missing 16-year-old

Charleston police are searching for a 16-year-old who was reported missing Monday.

Adam Grayson Forsyth, of Egret Crest Lane in Charleston, was last seen about 4:30 p.m., said police spokesman Charles Francis. Forsyth was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants.

Forsyth’s vehicle was found at 1 a.m. Tuesday on the side of Dorchester Road near Ashley Phosphate Road. It did not contain any personal belongings except for his wallet, which had been left in the seat of the vehicle.

Francis said foul play is not suspected.

Anyone with information about Forsyth’s whereabouts is asked to call an on-duty detective at 743-7200.
