Charleston police release photo of man they say used stolen credit cards

Police say this man used a stolen credit card.

Charleston police are looking for a man they say used stolen credit cards to buy more than $10,000 in merchandise.

Credit cards were taken July 22 from a truck on Farr Street on Daniel Island while the owner was playing golf, according to an incident report. One card was used later that day at a Best Buy for $8,039 and another at an Apple store for $2,168.92, according to the report.

Police released photos of the suspect Wednesday.

Anyone with information is asked to call dispatch at 743-7200 and ask for the on-call Charleston police detective.
