Charleston police looking to identify suspect in credit card fraud case

The Charleston Police Department is looking for this man in a credit card fraud investigation.

Charleston police are searching for a suspect they say used someone else’s credit card to make a purchase.

The man, who was caught on surveillance footage, went about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 13 to the Bilo located at 3575 Maybank Highway on Johns Island and used the victim’s credit card to buy a $300 gift card.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111 or the Charleston Police Department Central Detective Division (843) 743-7200.
