Charleston police looking for details after man shot in leg

A man showed up at a Charleston hospital with a gunshot wound shortly after midnight Monday, and police are trying to determine the location of the incident.

The man was shot in the right leg about 12:30 a.m., Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said. The wound was not life threatening, and he was treated and released. Police are trying to find out where he was shot, Francis said.

No other details were immediately available.
