Charleston police asking for help finding suspect after stolen goods sold to pawnshop

Charleston police are asking for help tracking down a suspect after stolen items were sold to a pawnshop.

Nathaniel Bowman, 53, whose last known address was on Strawberry Lane, has several active warrants for property crime enhancement, according to Charleston police.

Police said Bowman sold stolen items to Money Man Pawn April 8. A $400 weedeater was stolen from the bed of a pickup parked on Rutledge Avenue near Beaufain Street the night of April 3, according to an incident report.

Bowman often rides a bicycle that’s spray-painted black, according to the wanted announcement. He’s 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.
