The deadline for Charleston County’s Everyday Heroes student art contest has been extended.
Entries will be accepted until 4 p.m. Sept. 25, according to an announcement from the county. The previous deadline was Friday.
The contest is open to Charleston County students kindergarten through high school. The winning entries will be displayed Oct. 5-9 in the rotunda of the county services building. Prizes will also be awarded.
Artwork should be no bigger than 8.5 x 11 inches and reflect “Everyday Heroes,” which is the theme of National Customer Service Week.
