A Charleston County school bus was involved in a wreck Friday morning in Charleston, but no students were hurt, according to the school district.
The accident was reported at 7:23 a.m. on Cannon Street near Ashley Avenue, according to an emergency dispatch supervisor.
The bus was taking nine students to Charleston Progressive Academy, according to district spokesman Dan Head. No students were injured, and another bus was sent to take them to school, he said. The school is on Meeting Street.
One other vehicle was involved, and no injuries were reported, according to Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis.
