Charleston County detectives looking for check fraud suspect

This woman is suspected of using stolen checks

Charleston County detectives are asking for help identifying a woman they suspect of using stolen checks.

A Johns Island woman reported in April that her checkbook had been stolen and eight checks written out to a Ulyses Clinton for a total of $2,069, according to the incident report from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office released a photo of a suspect Friday. The image was captured around 5:50 p.m. April 15 at the Bank of America ATM at 7420 Rivers Ave in North Charleston.
