Brother also charged after shots fired outside North Charleston nightclub

The brother of a man who was arrested after shots were fired outside a North Charleston nightclub early Tuesday was also arrested.

Tyvon Sydell Walker, 23, of Stonewall Drive in Summerville was charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Walker was a passenger in a car from which shots were fired at a security guard outside Honey Beez at 4540 Rivers Ave. around 2:45 a.m., according to North Charleston police.

His brother, Xavier Terrill Walker, 30, of Elms Spring Road in North Charleston was driving and was charged with attempted murder.

The guard fired back, and Xavier Walker was hit in an ear, according to the incident report. Officers said they found him getting treated at a hospital.

Tyvon Walker was being held in the Charleston County jail on $150,000 bail Wednesday. Xavier Walker’s bail had not been set.
